all with gorgeous genuine carved ivory handles and Louis XV style sterling silver caps & collars or ferrules

Tiny Antique French Empire Portrait Miniature in 2" Tall Easel Back Frame Dates c.1810-15 Napoleon Era throw pillows The frame is not originalAn elegant Napoleon era portrait miniature painting, uniquely in a tiny easel frame which is quite unusual in early portrait miniatures. The forward swept hair and high collar and jacket of the Napoleon era, it remains in excellent condition, original beveled and polished cover glass and silk velvet back. The frontispiece of the little frame looks to be karat gold but I have not acid tested it, thinking it might be more likely plate or super thin gold
